A message from our founder
Begum Inayat Welfare Society was established in 2013 by Dr Amna Amber with the vision of serving orphan children and providing them with opportunities for a better life through education and care.
"Every child deserves love, education, dignity, and the opportunity to succeed in life. This is the vision that drives BIWS every single day."
I started this journey in 2013 because I saw girls who had no one to turn to — girls who needed not just food and shelter, but love, guidance, education, and someone who believed in them.
Today, our Girls Campus is home to 90 orphan girls. BIWS focuses on nurturing them with compassion, discipline, and opportunities so they can grow into confident and responsible members of society. Through education, skill development, and community support, we strive to create a sustainable impact in their lives.
Our skill development programs include computer education, digital skills, beautician training, stitching skills, and web & IT learning — preparing children for independent, productive futures.
To our donors, volunteers, and partners: you are the reason these children smile. I invite you to visit us at 115 H Block, Model Town, Lahore, see our work firsthand, and join us in building safer futures for the next generation.
